These superior holiday cottages at Kinloch Rannoch in Perthshire, Scotland are set deep in the heart of the Highlands, on the famous "Road to the Isles". The lodges and apartments of The Loch Rannoch Highland Club nestle in 250 wooded acres, overlooking the startlingly clear waters of Loch Rannoch itself and the towering peak of Schiehallion beyond. The surrounding countryside abounds in lochs, rivers, woodland, and rugged mountains, making it the ideal place for outdoor pursuits of all kinds, ranging from rambling and rock-climbing to pony-trekking, bird watching and, of course fishing.
Nearby Pitlochry is the tourist centre of Highland Perthshire. Famous for it's scenery and hydro-electric dam with salmon ladder. Here the salmon don't actually jump up the ladder but swim through interconnecting pipes. An observation chamber allows visitors to watch the salmon underwater through a large plate glass window.
Just north of Pitlochry is the House of Bruar retail complex offering quality Scottish shopping on a grand scale.
These superior holiday cottages at The Loch Rannoch Highland Club in Perthshire, Scotland are a variety of different styles ranging from compact studio apartments, sleeping 2 (will sleep two adults and two children but all in same room), to 3 bedroom Highland Lodges sleeping up to 8. All of the resort's lodges and apartments feature private patio and balcony providing breathtaking views of the Loch and the Highlands beyond. All centrally heated, they have been built to the highest standards and luxuriously appointed with the finest furnishings and fittings throughout. Every lounge has a colour TV and video player, games table and dining area, and all the crockery, glassware and cutlery you’ll need to dine in style. The main bedrooms come complete with spacious wardrobes. The kitchens are fitted with solid oak units, split level ovens, ceramic hobs and everything else from a corkscrew to a food processor.
In the 2 and 3 bedroom Lodges the master bedroom is made as a double room. If you would prefer twin beds, please let the resort know. Any twin-bedded room in your lodge may be made into a double-bedded room. The lounge area has a double pull down bed.
Pets are permitted on the resort, although you should bring a basket/bedding/feeding bowls with you. You are requested to keep dogs on a leash within the resort and estate grounds, and to clean up in the area by using the disposal bags available at Reception or in The Country Store. Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture.
Accounts for electricity and telephones should be settled at the Lodge Reception before departure. The present charge for electricity is 8.50 pence per unit with a standing charge of 30 pence per day.

To reach Loch Rannoch Highland Club at Kinloch Rannoch in Perthshire, Scotland join the A9 northbound and bypass Perth and Pitlochry. Take the B8019 to Kinloch Rannoch.
Reception and the Office for the resort are located at 'Dorus air Rainneach', The Avenue, Kinloch Rannoch, PH16 5PR (opposite the new Doctor's Surgery, before arriving at the Loch).
Reception opening hours are Thursday - Saturday (7.30am - 8.00pm), Sunday (9.00am - 3.00pm) and Monday - Wednesday (9.00am - 5.00pm). If you will be arriving outside these hours it is essential that you phone the Office on 01796 471850 so that arrangements can be made for access to your lodge.
