The lovely holiday cottages at The Lakeland Village in Newby Bridge, Cumbria consist of 47 luxury cottages and apartments situated on the banks of the River Leven, the southern outlet of Lake Windermere. The Resort is easily accessible from Junction 36 of the M6, and is an ideal location for exploring the southern and western lakes and fells. The Lakeland Village is within easy reach of all the traditional outdoor activities associated with the Lake District.
The well equipped riverside holiday cottages and apartments at The Lakeland Village in Cumbria nestle alongside the salmon river flowing out of Lake Windermere. There are 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom self catering units, all are spacious, tastefully furnished to a high standard and have been awarded five stars. On site is The Cascades Health and Leisure Club, of which guests are automatically members during their stay and also the Whitewater Hotel, which has a restaurant and bar. Please note the electricity meters are read at the beginning and end of your holiday so that you pay only for what you have used.
Please note the swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna will not be available from January 2008 until 14/2/08 as the resort are re-tiling. However the squash courts and gym will still be available for use.

To reach The Lakeland Village at Newby Bridge in Cumbria, leave the M6 Motorway at Junction 36 (South Lakes) and follow the A590 (Barrow). Just through the roundabout at Newby Bridge there is a stretch of dual carriageway, which ends with a sharp bend to the left. Along this straight the Lakeland Village is the second turning on the right, immediately after Lakeland Village sign.
