Somerled at Garmoran Square in Argyll, Scotland is a luxurious holiday cottage situated in Mingarry, Moidart, Lochaber on the picturesque west coast of the Scottish Highlands. It is just one hour from Fort William and within easy reach of Mull, Skye and Ardnamurchan.
The Cottage contains a small library of interesting books on the Highlands, maps and lots of information on what to see and do. There are many great walks nearby from a twenty minute stroll to all day expeditions. Moidart and Ardnamurchan can claim some of the best beauty spots on the west coast.
Somerled at Garmoran Square is a superior holiday cottage located in the magnificent Scottish Highlands, luxuriously and comprehensively furnished. The property has 3 ensuite bedrooms, sleeping 6, 2 doubles and 1 twin, which are south west facing. A large lounge with log burner, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen also with an open fire, cloakroom with wc and a master bedroom with spa bath.
The property boasts under floor heating throughout with linen and towels supplied and electricity, oil, coal and wood included. A mobile pay as you talk phone with £5.00 credit is supplied. The Cottage has storage for outdoor equipment and bikes and a selection of books, board games, maps, DVDs, CDs and information packs. The property has a private car parking area with wheelchair accessible parking. Somerled also has a garden, with decks and outdoor furniture.

To reach Somerled at Garmoran Square, by car from Fort William take the A82 in the direction of Oban. After about eight miles, shortly before Onich, cross the Corran Ferry to Ardgour. This leaves at a quarter past and a quarter to the hour during the day. On leaving the ferry turn left and follow the signs for Strontian then on to Salen, Acharacle and on to Mingarry. Garmoran Square is second on the right.
Alternatively, if you have more time for the journey and want a more scenic route, head north out of Fort William taking the road to Mallaig and the Isles (A830). From here continue on your journey to Lochailort where you turn off the Road to the Isles and head across hills (A86). You are then heading through Moidart. Go through the fishing village of Glenuig and onto Mingarry, Garmoran Square is the second last house on the left.
Driving advice, the nearest petrol station is at Strontian, 10 miles away, please ensure you keep your tank topped up.
