Scott Cottage is quietly situated close to the centre of the small village of Bellerby in lush green Wensleydale, making it an ideal location from which to tour the Yorkshire Dales and Moors. The Lake District National Park is also within an hours drive.
The village has a post office and pub within 50 yards, whilst a short drive will take you into Leyburn, Richmond and Catterick which all have further facilities. Wensleydale - the Dale was made famous in recent years by the well published stories of country practice vet 'James Herriot'. Nearby can be found lovely scenery, stately homes, castles, excellent walking country, fishing and horse riding. Middleham is well known for horse racing stables and early morning gallops are a daily sight.
Scott Cottage in North Yorkshire, is attached to the owners home, this clever conversion was originally an old stone barn, and retains some of its original nooks and crannies.

First floor: 2 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin with single folding chair bed, only suitable for a child, cot and high chair are available. There is a small shared garden with garden furniture and barbecue and private parking for one car. Pets are allowed, by prior arrangement at a fee of £10.00. There is a utility fee of £15 at this Cottage.
