The village itself is traditionally a fishing village and is now better known for its traditional music. This is a prime rural seaside location offering an array of activities and breathtaking scenery.
Doolin is located 8km from the Cliffs of Moher, 6km from the famous spa town of Lisdoonvarna and just a fifteen minute drive from the town of Lahinch.
Local attractions nearby include dolphin watching, golf, walking, caving, diving, horse riding and fabulous sandy beaches. Nearby Seaworld offers a variety of facilities in two main section namely the swimming complex and the Atlantic Aquarium. The swimming complex features a 25m deck level pool, kiddies pool, Jacuzzi and sauna and the Aquarium features a fascinating array of marine specimens including a lobster breeding station and a blow-hole wave explosion.
