The superior holiday cottages, Red Door Holiday Apartments are located just two minutes walk from one of Ireland's most beautiful sandy beaches, yet right in the centre of the picturesque village of Rathmullan.
Rathmullan is a picturesque seaside village situated on the Western Shore of Lough Swilly. The village is of historical interest and makes a great base for touring North Donegal, which offers some of the best beaches and most beautiful scenery in the whole country. There is a wide selection of excellent restaurants and pubs to choose from and two beautiful hotels including the historic Rathmullan House Hotel.
Rathmullan itself features a truly beautiful golden sandy beach, which extends as far as the eye can see. In addition, a short ten minute drive along the beautiful Fanad Drive, you will find Ballymastocker Bay Beach, which was named by the Observer as one of the top ten beaches in the world. There are four golf courses close to Rathmullan, including Portsalon, Dunfanaghy, Rosapenna and a nine hole course in Rathmullan itself.
