The Area

Primrose Cottage in France is only five minutes drive from the village of Pommerit Le Vicomte. Pommerit is a busy little village with a supermarket, 3 bars/newsagents, patisserie, pharmacy and a medical centre. Pommerit Le Vicomte is no more than 20 minutes away from major beaches.

The historic town of Guingamp is the nearest large town, ten minutes by car and contains all the leading hypermarkets and in the medieval centre an excellent range of shops, superb restaurants and bars.

The Property

Primrose Cottage in Northern Brittany, France is a lovely three bedroomed Cottage to sleep six people. This charming Cottage has two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle. The property has an open plan lounge/kitchen and breakfast bar with television and video. Upstairs there is a bathroom with toilet and shower. There is onsite parking, garden areas and patio furniture available at Primrose Cottage.

Directions

To reach Primrose Cottage in Pommerit Le Vicomte, France from Roscoff take the road to Morlaix, then follow the RN12 to St. Brieuc, take the first exit to Guingamp, Guingamp West "Ouest". From the centre of Guingamp follow the signs for Pabu, at the small village of Pabu turn right for Pommerit Le Vicomte which is approximately 8 kilometres. Further details available from property owner upon confirmation of booking. The journey is an easy drive from Roscoff taking approximately 50 minutes, Roscoff is served by Brittany Ferries from Plymouth and the property owners have negotiated special terms for guests.

If arriving at St Malo or Dinard airport take the road signposted to Dinan, then travel West on the RN176 to Lamballe. Continue on the N176 for about 35kms. Just after the town of Jugon Les Lacs the road will merge onto the N12/E50 taking you in the direction of Saint Brieuc. Keep going Past Lamballe on this road through Saint Brieuc. After leaving Saint Brieuc, in about 10-15 mins you will see the signpost for the D6, Lanvollon, Paimpol. Take this exit and stay on the D6 until you reach Lanvollon, about 10 mins. At the Lanvollon roundabout continue straight on for approx 3 kms. As the road becomes a dual carriageway, take the first exit, signposted Pontrieux, Treverec and Chateau Roche Jagu. At the first roundabout take the left exit for Pontrieux, Treverec and at the second roundabout go straight over. After a couple of mins you will see the left turn signposted Gommenech. Shortly after passing through Gommenech, approx 1.5kms, you will see two turnings on the right hand side next to each other. The first signposted Kerhervé, if you reach Pommerit Le Vicomte village you have gone too far. Take this turning and we are the first property on the left. Two large boulders mark the driveway entrance.
