The lovely holiday cottages at Muckross Holiday Village in Co. Kerry, Ireland consist of four clusters of brand new holiday homes, located just over a mile from the heart of Killarney Town. Killarney is without a doubt one Ireland’s finest and most beautiful tourist towns. This picturesque town is nestled among deep, lake filled valleys and Ireland’s highest mountains, the MacGillycuddy Reeks.
The onsite Killarney Oaks Inn offers the very best in food and there is regular evening entertainment in the Acorn Bar.
The town itself provides an incredible range of beautiful shops, leisure activities, a multiplex cinema and entertainment that will help you relax and unwind throughout the day and night and a huge selection of restaurants.
Killarney National Park is just a two minute drive from Muckross Holiday Village. It consists of 25,000 acres of lakes, rivers, mountains, wildlife and walks.
The superior holiday cottages at Muckross Holiday Village in Ireland consist of two types of houses. The three bedroomed houses consist of one master double ensuite bedroom, one twin bedroom and a single bedroom with separate bathroom sleeping up to five people. The four bedroomed options contain one master double ensuite bedroom, two twin bedrooms and one single bedroom with separate bathroom, sleeping up to seven people.
There is also one house specifically designed for wheelchair users with a separate downstairs bedroom and bathroom with roll-in shower.
The spacious lounge is tastefully furnished and contains a comfortable suite of furniture, colour television, video recorder and electric fireplace. There is an immediate sense of space upon entering these houses they are very bright and airy. The open plan kitchen/dining area has plenty of space and is fully equipped with all modern conveniences including electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. All necessary kitchen utensils and crockery are also provided.
The houses are set in the style of a courtyard and each group of eight houses shares a large green area at rear for children to play or to while away those long summer evenings. Secure private parking is available for each house. The properties are heated by electric central heating with storage heaters in each room. All bed linen and towels are provided. Electricity is an extra charge and is payable on departure.

Muckross Holiday Village is situated near Killarney in Co. Kerry, Ireland. From Killarney town centre take the N71, Muckross Road, just past the Killarney Cineplex towards the National Park for approximately 1½ miles. Muckross Holiday Village is located on the left hand side in the grounds of the Killarney Oaks Inn, just past the Gleneagle Hotel and opposite the entrance to the Lake Hotel. Killarney has its own airport in Farranfore with an increasing number of direct flights. Car hire is available at the airport. Muckross Holiday Village is just a fifteen minute taxi ride from the airport. Alternatively, Cork Airport is approximately 100km or 1½ hours drive away. Regular daily trains and buses run directly to Killarney from Dublin and Cork. Muckross Holiday Village is just a five minute taxi ride from the Station.
