The Mondi Ferienclub Mitterfels Resort is situated on the edge of the Bavarian Forest and is an ideal base for touring all of the different areas in the region. It is also a great place if you like sport, as during the summer months there is hiking and sight seeing, during the winter months there are cross country skiing trails only a short distance away.
At the climatic health resort of Mitterfels you will find a small part of Bavaria, barely touched by modern tourism. Set in beautiful, surroundings with gently rolling hills, babbling brooks and valleys; this tranquil market town is ideal for those in search of peace and tranquility.
The Mondi Ferienclub Mitterfels in Germany includes 14 apartment houses decorated in typical rustic style and surrounded by lots of greenery. All of the units have kitchens and are fully heated, with maid service provided twice a week, extra service can be requested for an additonal charge. Pets are welcome, for a fee, please arrange this direct with the Resort, and it must be arranged well in advance.
The Resort offers a childrens playground, tennis courts, solarium, Bavarian restaurant and bicycle rental.

To reach Mondi Ferienclub Mitterfels from Munich Airport take the A92 for Deggendorf. Exit at A92 for Landauand take the B20 for Straubing. Pass Straubing and exit at Mitterfels. Then follow signs for Ferienclub Luftkurort Mitterfels. From Nuremburg take the A3, pass Regensburg and Straubing and exit at A3 for Mitterfels. As above, follow signs for Ferienclub Luftkurort Mitterfels.
