The house is in a friendly village that offers a peaceful rural retreat, with easy access to beautiful beaches, historic towns and breathtaking views of the Pyrenees. For the more energetic holidaymaker there is local canoeing, horse riding, quad biking, fishing, sailing, surfing and golf, while the area is also great for both walking and off-road cycling through the nearby Landes forest.
Les Croisee Des Vents ("Crosswinds") is a spacious, oak-timbered Landaise-style house with a covered terrace, sitting in almost an acre of its own grounds with stunning views of protected French countryside.
The spacious house is comfortably and tastefully furnished throughout, and equipped with air conditioning and central heating as well as UK Sky television. A welcome pack of freshly baked bread, croissants, cheese, milk and fruit - plus a few extra goodies - awaits your arrival. Fresh linen and towels are also provided, along with an honesty wine rack.
Four spacious bedrooms;
A large mezzanine bedroom which includes changing room and super king bed. Two roomy twin rooms and a double room with French windows opening onto small terrace with pretty views. All rooms are provided with fresh linen and have plenty of built in wardrobe space.
Bathroom facilities include a brand-new, spacious and beautifully appointed en suite bathroom with twin washbasins and a large "double-ended" bath, in addition to a family bathroom, and a separate WC downstairs.
An open easy to use country style kitchen with full range of all new appliances. The kitchen opens onto the breakfast patio and leads also into a large well equipped utility / laundry room.
