Distance from town: All types of watersports can be
found just 300 yards away on the beach, including diving schools. There are many small supermarkets, restaurants, bars, tavernas, hairdressers, car hire offices, banks, gift shops and a post office within easy walking distance. Taxis are cheap and plentiful, with bus and coach services operating to all parts of the island.
Area activities: Nearby Limassol is recognised as the island's tourist capital and is centrally positioned on the south coast of Cyprus with easy access to the most famous historical sites. The resort has an old town centre, several sandy beaches along its seven mile waterfront and a bustling tourist area with a wide range of shops, restaurants and tavernas. Places of interest include, Troodos mountains, where ski-ing is very popular in the months January to March, and driving through picturesque villages dotted around the pine clad hillsides, you will pass just below the highest point on the island, Mount Olympus.
