Jersey Quay in Aberavon, Wales occupies an enviable position overlooking Aberavon beach, and out over Swansea and the Mumbles. Aberavon boasts two miles of safe sandy beach, perfect for a wide variety of watersports. The surf is some of the finest in Wales, tourists flock here from all over the world for the waves. The nearby Lido has several large flume rides, a large swimming pool, wave machine and several areas for younger children. The Aquaspa at Afan Lido includes a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi/spa, relaxation area and cold plunge shower. There also a fully air-conditioned gym and fitness classes plus a six screen cinema.
Further across the county there are a great range of activities which include mountain biking, cycling, walking, fishing, boating, surfing, golf, horse riding and lots of visitor attractions and centres. A few miles down the road can be found the Afan Forest Park, with its world class mountain bike excitement. The trails are built into some of the most dramatic landscapes you are likely to ever see.
Jersey Quay in Wales is a luxurious three bedroom, penthouse apartment to accommodate six guests. The whole of the first floor being divided into a light and airy living space with stunning brand new designer fitted kitchen. From here you have access onto two large terraces running the whole length of the apartment. One faces out to sea, the other onto spectacular mountain scenery.
The property is equipped with large flat screen TV, sky, DVD/VCR recorder, dab digital radio, play station 2 with games, TV with built-in DVD player in every bedroom and a large plush leather sofa to seat six people. The living area has three bookcases full of an assortment of books, magazines, video's and DVDs to suit all ages and tastes. There is also an assortment of popular family games to keep everyone amused on winter evenings such as chess, draughts, monopoly, clue-do, cards and back gammon. Also included is a selection of jigsaws and magazines.
The brand new kitchen is equipped with washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven/hob, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. It is well stocked with good quality crockery and cutlery and a vast selection of equipment.
The dining area has a large solid ash table to seat six in comfort.
Both balconies are equipped with garden furniture, which includes tables, chairs, barbecue and patio-heater can be found on one balcony. Also supplied is charcoal and lighting fluid.
The large master bedroom is en-suite with its own private balcony. The bedroom has its own TV with DVD combination, plus a large selection of DVD'S and books. There is also extra seating, a table and a walk in wardrobe with plenty of storage space. The bedroom has its own dressing table with hair dryer and electric silent alarm clock. The en-suite bathroom has basin, large powerful walk-in shower, heated towel rail and overhead heater. A large selection of quality towels are provided and changed once during a seven night stay.
The second bedroom has a wooden double bed with large good quality wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside cabinets both with plenty of storage. There is also a TV with built in DVD player, hairdryer and bookcase with a selection of books and DVDs mainly to suit older children. The bedroom is tastefully decorated with a selection of paintings, photo's and mirrors.
The third bedroom is a bunk room and has two full size single beds. There are a large selection of toys to suit younger children, plus a PlayStation with some games, books and video's. The bedroom is decorated in blue and has a nautical feel with lighthouses, shells and anchors adorning the walls. A large lava lamp completes the decor making this a fun practical bedroom for children.
There is a family bathroom with overhead power-shower, heated towel rail and a large selection of towels. Also included is soap, shampoo and bubble bath.
