Herodot in Turkey is ideally located only a short walk from Bodrum, where you will find markets, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The nearest beach is only a fifteen minute walk from the property. There is a good network of public transport dolmus/minibus which run regularly.
Situated on a beautiful peninsula, Bodrum with miles of sandy beaches is an ideal location for a wide range of watersports. With the lively marina the hub of the town, sailing is a way of life in the Bodrum Peninsula, with plenty of opportunity to cruise along the spectacular shoreline in a yacht or enjoy a famed Blue Cruise in a traditional wooden gulet.
With its rich history of Turkish crafts, Bodrum is the perfect place for some serious shopping. The bazaar quarter is home to traditional shops, selling everything from carpets and rugs, to leather, silver, pottery and embroidery, and colourful local markets offering an array of local produce and spices.
Steeped in ancient history, the Bodrum region is home to some fascinating sites and ancient ruins, including the site of King Mausolous' Tomb, Bodrum Castle, the Amphitheatre, and the underwater city of Mindos.
Herodot in Bodrum, Turkey is a two bedroom apartment on a small, well looked after complex with a shared outdoor swimming pool and pretty gardens. The fully air conditioned apartment is able to accommodate up to five guests.

The master bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has twin beds and there is also a sofa bed in the living room. Bathroom Patio doors form the lounge lead onto the balcony with patio furniture, there is also a balcony leading from the master bedroom.
