Glebe Cottage in Northumberland is located in the hamlet of Tughall Steads. Set back a quarter of a mile from the main road from Beadnell to Newton-by-the-Sea, the 18th century stone former farm buildings of this organic coastal farm have been carefully restored and renovated over the last year. The result is a characterful collection of holiday properties of varying sizes, with sweeping countryside views, yet only minutes from some of Northumberland’s most stunning beaches. The nearest pubs are the Ship Inn at Newton-by-the-Sea, about five minutes drive, or the Craster Arms in Beadnell, about five minutes drive in the opposite direction. Seahouses is just a three mile drive away. This is where you will find the nearest supermarket, deli, fish and chip shops, grocers, bakers, post office, Barclays Bank, the Ocean Club and other facilities. Glebe Cottage makes an ideal base for exploring this lovely area of Northumberland.
Cottage in Tughall Steads, Northumberland is a beautifully renovated spacious barn conversion with two bedrooms, looking out on to a large open courtyard area and surrounded by lovely open countryside. Glebe Cottage can be set up to sleep 4 guests plus a 5th child, by using a chair bed in the second bedroom. This makes the Cottage particularly versatile and will be popular with differing groups. If the sofa bed in the snug is used, then the Cottage could in fact accommodate up to 7 guests.
Accommodation comprises of a large lounge with feature electric fire, flat screen TV/DVD player, two comfy sofas and two large ceiling to floor windows, one with patio doors. Contemporary kitchen/dining room with oak fronted kitchen units, plenty of appliances, leather chairs, oak table and art work. Separate snug off the lounge with flat screen TV and DVD, sofa and guitars. Hallway with downstairs cloakroom. Main bedroom with feature iron king size bed and light French style furniture. Second bedroom which can be made up with two single beds or with a massive super king bed. Single size chair bed available which is suitable for a child/toddler. Family bathroom with shower over bath.
Outside there is a patio with table and chairs and on site parking.
