Gite Fleurie at Maison Bois Fleurie in France is situated in a beautiful part of rural France, in the small village of Souvigne. The Maison Bois Fleurie site is approximately two hectares, with a quaint old chapel, plunge pool and BBQ equipment.
The surrounding area has the following attractions: Lakes and rivers for swimming, fishing and boating. Interesting walks and cycle routes. Good restaurants in the area offering fine French wine and cuisine. Futuroscope at Poitiers, which is considered to be the finest theme park in Europe. Quaint villages and rural French towns, such as the nearby 15th century town of St. Maixent l'Ecole with its colourful market. In addition to the above, the beautiful seaside town of La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast is just fifty minutes drive from the property.
The beautiful Gite Fleurie in France at Maison Bois Fleurie, has recently been completely refurbished. This self catering property is very well appointed and caters for up to five guests. The property includes the following features: One double ensuite bedroom and one bedroom with 2 or 3 single beds. Beamed lounge/dining room with open fireplace. Well equipped kitchen, utility room, bathroom, separate wc and central heating for the winter months.
French windows open onto a lovely south facing terrace. The Gite also has its own private garden area, complete with garden furniture. As well as this, Gite guests have full access to the outdoor swimming pool, BBQ area and undercover parking.
This gite can be rented together with 3 ensuite bedrooms and dining room in the adjoining house, with access by connecting door, to give accommodation for 11-13 people.

DIRECTIONS TO MAISON BOIS FLEURIE
FROM MELLE
Take D737 out of Melle, following signs to St Maixent l'Ecole, until reaching Beausais; take D10 still signed St.Maixent l'Ecole. Keep on this road until reaching SOUVIGNE; take the 4th turning on the left into the village (just past the Salle Rural on your right). You will see our Chambre d'hôte sign (a bed with a roof over it) on the junction. At the end of this short road you will see facing you our Archway leading into the courtyard and straight in front of you the Maison Bois Fleurie sign (Green and Flowery!).

FROM PARTHENAY
Take the D938 out of Parthenay following signs to St.Maixent l'Ecole.
As you enter St.Maixent you will see signs to Melle, (on the D10) follow these signs going straight over the roundabout towards Melle.
Then from * to* as from Poitiers.
FROM POITIERS
If travelling on the N11 follow signs to St.Maixent l'Ecole.
If travelling on the A10 Paege: -
Exit Junction 31 following signs to St.Maixent l'Ecole.
On entering St.Maixent, follow road straight down the hill until reaching a roundabout (first passing impressive looking statue on your left).
At the roundabout turn left onto the D24 which soon becomes the D10 signed to Melle. *
Go straight over 2 sets of traffic lights, past the Station & round several sharp bends. On leaving the town, straight through a small hamlet St.Martin de St. Maixent and over a bridge crossing the Paege. Keep straight on this road for about 1/2 a mile until you see the Souvigne boundary signs, take the 2nd right turn into Souvigne Village, where you will see our Chambre d'hôte signs. At the end of this short road, you will find our archway facing you with the Maison Bois Fleurie sign on the right. Drive through the Arch into the courtyard.

FROM NIORT
If approaching on the Paege (A10), do not exit at Junction 32 but continue on for a short distance and take the exit for St. Maixent l'Ecole, which is also the junction with the A83 ( Junction 11 ). Then take the N11 following the signs to St.Maixent l'Ecole, going straight through La Crèche.
On entering St.Maixent, go straight over the roundabout and down a long hill into the town going straight over all sets of traffic lights (only if green!!). When you reach the 2nd roundabout (at the bottom of the hill) Turn right onto the D10 signed to Melle then from * to * as travelling from Poitiers.
