Darragh Cottages are located 3.5 miles from the village of Kilfinane, in Southern Ireland. The cottages are ideally located for day trips to the Lakes of Killarney, Cliffs of Moher, Waterford Crystal, Bunratty Folk Park, Blarney Castle and the Rock of Cashel.
Locally the scenic countryside provides many interesting towns and activities such as golf , rambling, fishing and horse riding. The Cottages are surrounded by the Ballyhoura hills and the Galtee mountains. Galtimore, the highest peak, is within sight of the estate. The cottages are a lovely place to visit at any time of the year.
Darragh Cottages are a group of four beautifully restored stone Cottages on the Cork-Limerick border in the heart of Southern Ireland.
Situated in their own Victorian stone walled garden, the Cottages are an ideal escape from everyday life. The surrounding fields form the grounds of a Georgian House and have been allowed to revert to traditional Irish grassland. The estate is accessed by a tree-lined driveway which extends from the nearest road a quarter of a mile away.
Each cottage has two bedrooms upstairs, one double room and one twin room. The double room has a wash basin, vanity unit and wardrobes. The twin room contains a dressing table. There is also a cot available to accommodate a baby. The ground floor has a lounge/dining area with TV, a three piece suite, table and four chairs, pine dresser, fridge, electric cooker and all necessary utensils; toaster, coffee pot, kettle, crockery, etc. Bed linen and towels are provided. Metered electricity should be paid for on departure.
The bathroom contains both bath and shower with a shaving point, w.c. and wash basin. The entrance hall has an automatic washing machine located under the stairs.

Darragh Cottages are situated near Kilfinane in County Limerick, Southern Ireland. From Dublin Airport, join the N1 (M1) southbound for approximately one mile until you join the M50 ring road. This is a toll road (80 pence) which circles the west and south of Dublin city. Leave the M50 at signs for N7 (M7), Cork and Limerick. Follow this road for about 50 miles. When approaching Portlaise, join the N8 (M8) for Cork. Half a mile before the town of Mitchelstown, turn right on to the R513 signed for Limerick. Travel west for one mile in the Limerick direction. Immediately after a river bridge and golf course turn left on a small road R517 to Kilfinane. Follow this road for 6½ miles until "Darragh" sign appears on left. Then 100m after the "Darragh" sign, you will see a sign for Darragh Cottages on your left. This leads you 150m up the hill to large entrance gates on your left.
