The lovely holiday cottages at Dalewood Holiday Homes are perfectly situated on the outskirts of beautiful Glengarriff Town in West Cork, Ireland.
Glengarriff, An Gleann Garbh (the rugged glen) is a name derived from the rugged beauty of the mountains and wooded valleys surrounding the village. Indeed there are many magnificent views of mountains and valleys from many viewpoints which hug the coastline that leads into Glengarriff.
Glengarriff is a gateway to the Ring of Kerry and Beara Peninsula and is a picturesque village. There is a fantastic selection of shops, traditional bars and restaurants to choose from in this charming village where you will find a traditional warm West Cork welcome. Activities available nearby include sailing, fishing, walking, touring, golf, horse riding and cycling.
The superior holiday cottages at Dalewood Holiday Homes are bright and modern and have been designed to the very highest standards. The spacious open-plan dining/sitting room is tastefully furnished and contains electric fireplace, comfortable suite of furniture and television. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with all modern conveniences including dishwasher, washer/dryer, electric oven and microwave. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. There is one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and two single bedrooms, one with a guest bed. Each of the houses can comfortably accommodate up to five people. There is a main bathroom upstairs with wc, hand basin, shower and bath. The houses are conveniently heated by electric central heating and there are storage heaters in each room. The houses have a small back garden and there is ample private parking available. Dogs are welcome at Dalewood and should be kept on a lead at all times when onsite, there is an additional charge of €35 payable in cash onsite for pets.
