In winter you are only minutes away from superb skiing, and in the summer a whole host of watersports are on offer nearby. Follow the whisky trail through Glenfarclas, Glenfiddoch, Glenlivet and Tamdhu. Or visit ancient Inverness, capital of the Highlands or Loch Ness home of Nessie, the worlds favourite monster. This is wonderful walking and climbing country, with unspoiled wide open views of outstanding natural beauty. Those who would appreciate the views from the mountain tops, but are unable to make the climb can use the Funicular Railway at Cairngorm. The Rivers Dee, Don and Spey all run through the Cairngorms National Park and their beautiful valleys contribute to the landscape. The high quality of the river water is important for commercial salmon fishing and also the distillers of whisky, for which the area is famous. In the centre of the Cairngorms National Park is the fine Mar Lodge Estate, in the care of the National Trust for Scotland. The Estate includes important archaeological sites and several listed buildings. To the east of the National Park is Royal Deeside, with the towns of Ballater and Braemar, which is host to the famous annual Royal Highland Gathering.

Each lodge has a sun shelter patio, spacious lounge, dining room area, and an en-suite bathroom complete with its own whirlpool bath, TV, radio and games table. Only two dogs permitted per unit, at a charge of £10.00 per week and they must be kept on a lead at all times. Any breach of the aforementioned will result in a penalty charge of £20.00 on top of any standard basic charges. Members must inform the lodge office in advance, their intention to bring animals to the site. If required ramps can be made available for disabled access.

Coylumbridge Highland Lodges near Aviemore in Scotland are located two and a half miles from the centre of Aviemore, on the B970, the road connecting Aviemore with Glenmore, Loch Morlich and The Cairngorm Ski Area. The entrance to the Resort is on the left hand side of the road, just east of Inverdruie. Aviemore is reached by the A9 Perth to Inverness road, and is under three hours driving time from Edinburgh and Glasgow. Coach and rail services are operated by National Express, Scottish City Link, Scot Rail and GNER, connecting Aviemore with main destinations in Scotland and England. The nearest airport is Inverness, 35 miles, which has daily services to and from London Gatwick operated by British Airways and London Luton operated by Easy Jet.
