An idyllic spot with truly magnificent panoramic sea and mountain views.
In one direction is spectacular Glen Coe, in the other direction are the mountains of Morvern. In the far distance across 30 miles of Sea is the Isle of Mull.
This very special place makes an excellent base for touring the Scottish Highlands and Islands with routes radiating out in all directions.
A wonderful place to sit and relax and enjoy the views and the abundant wildlife. You may see otters playing on the beach or giant Sea Eagles swooping down.
For the energetic, the surrounding mountains have superb hill walking, with ice climbing and skiing in the winter.
Fort William town with supermarket and all amenities is 9 miles north. Oban town is 24 miles south.
Onich village has a shop and several hotel restaurants and bars, one of which you can walk to along the beach.
This detached character cottage with its own garden offers spacious accommodation with light rooms tastefully furnished. It provides accommodation for up to six persons, with loch and mountain views from most windows. There is a spacious open lounge/dining room leading into the fully eqipped modern kitchen. Off the living room on the ground floor is a double bedroom with an en suite shower room with toilet. Beyond the kitchen is twin bedrrom (ground floor) a bathroom and a separate toilet. Off the landing at the top of a steep staircase is another twin bedroom with en suite shower and also off this landing is a seperate spacious sauna. The Coach House has many exposed original beams, together with a featured stone fireplace. It is comfortably furnished to a high standard with panoramic views over the sea and surrounding mountains. Services include full house heating from storage heaters, a log fire in the lounge, colour TV, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble drier, dishwasher, electric hob and oven, microwave and parking for three cars. Pets are welcome, maximum two dogs, which must be kept on a leash at all times, exercised outside the grounds and should not be left unattended in the property.
