Clifford Water Lodges are situated in 114 acres of mixed gardens, ponds, heaths, woodland copses and river valley. This tranquil park offers a haven to wildlife and people alike. Hartland Forest covers 1000 acres and is home to herds of wild deer, yet is just eight miles from North Devon's beautiful Heritage coastline and miles of sandy beaches. Clovelly, Bude and Lundy Island are among the numerous visitor attractions nearby. A car is essential to fully appreciate all this lovely area has to offer.
Clifford Water Lodges are spacious timber lodges providing everything required for family holidays, comfortably sleeping up to six people. Set into a natural hillside, which may be unsuitable for guests with walking difficulties, all have sheltered, sunny balconies or seating areas with panoramic views of rolling countryside. Furniture and fittings have been selected to complement the Nordic style of the accommodation. On site there is an 18 hole golf course. Electricity is charged by meter reading.
The Club Lodges are served by a simple reception that is located in a Summer House/Log Cabin type property which is open for check in on a Saturday. If you intend to arrive after 6pm you must inform Resort Solutions Ltd on 0044 (0) 1858 431160. In the event of an unexpected late arrival due to unforeseen circumstances, please call the emergency number 07736 892508 and key collection will be arranged. Your keys should be collected from Reception on your arrival and electricity cards purchased, these cost £2.00 each (Lodge 25 is using £1.00 cards only) and unused cards will be refunded at the end of the holiday. Electricity cards are available from Bond Oxborough Phillips Property Management, 6 Bridgeland Street, Bideford, North Devon, EX39 2PS on Saturday between 9am-4pm, Sunday between 10am-4pm and Monday to Friday 9am-6pm. To reach Clifford Water Lodges at The Hartland Forest Golf and Leisure Parc in Devon from the south on the A39, the sign for Hartland Forest Golf and Leisure Parc can be found approximately six miles north of Kilkhampton, just after the Last Inn in Devon. Turn right here in the direction of West Yagland.
Approaching from the north on the A39 the sign for Hartland Forest Golf and Leisure Parc can be found approximately five miles south of Clovelly Cross Roads. Turn right here in the direction of West Yagland. After approximately two miles on this small country road, take the left fork in the direction of East Yagland. The entrance to the Parc is approximately 0.25 miles on your right. Do not go down the hill to the main car park and club house. The parking for Clifford Water Lodges is located on your left as the road curves. Car parking is numbered 21 to 29 and the Reception is opposite.
