Camping Couze Mobile Homes are situated on a family run three star French campsite with outdoor swimming pool in Couze St Front. The village is located between the historic towns of Bergerac and Sarlat in the Dordogne region of South West France. A haven of tranquillity, it is an ideal spot for your mobile home holiday.
There are various activities organised for all age groups, these include aqua gym, archery, aerobics, football, step, volleyball, hockey and weekly countryside walks. There is evening entertainment during the week and a barbecue every Wednesday. A babysitting service and a reasonably priced taxi service are on site and help with booking restaurants, canoeing or hiring quads is available. For the little ones Kids Club is organised each morning by a bilingual courier with the emphasis on fun and friendship. As the campsite is circular in design it is extremely child friendly.
From June to September the Comite des fetes, the village committee, organises a fortnightly evening market where locals and tourists meet and eat together. The summer fete takes place every year on the first weekend of August.
The picturesque village of Couze St. Front is a perfect base for exploring all that the Dordogne has to offer, chateaux, prehistoric caves, 14th century villages, bastide towns, markets, vineyards, canoeing, wind-surfing, water skiing and golf or simply just to relax and get away from it all. For walking and cycling clubs and individuals, the Dordogne region is renowned for its off the beaten track walking and cycling circuits. For the golf enthusiast, Chateaux Les Merles, 15 min from the campsite, boasts a 9 hole golf course in its grounds. For children there are various theme parks based on the area’s history coupled with nearby water park and local aquariums.
Weekly markets are held in Lalinde, 3km from site and the medieval village of Issigeac, 15km from site. Here you will find farm fresh produce, local specialities as well as jewellery and bric-a-brac novelty items. The region is a gastronomic delight. Local specialities include confit de canard, foie gras, truffles, crêpes and charcuterie. Dining out in Couze and its environs is a pleasurable experience and superb value for money.
Camping Couze Mobile Homes at Camping des Moulins, Couze St Front, France are well equipped and offer a double bedroom, a twin room, a dinette/living area, which also converts to a double bed, toilet, bathroom with shower and fully equipped kitchen. Outside furniture and a barbecue are provided.
Prices include bed linen, pool towels, tea towels, cleaning service and welcome pack. Organised activities for children, teenagers and adults. Use of outdoor swimming pool, sports fields, skateboard park and basketball court. Certain sports equipment available for use.
The mobile homes are available to rent from the beginning of April to the beginning of November.
