The Area

Millom is situated on the Cumbrian Coastal Way surrounded by the Duddon Estuary and the Lake District Fells. An area of outstanding natural beauty, this is the perfect location for those who wish to 'get away from it all'.

Any visitors with an interest in history will be delighted with the wealth of attractions the region has to offer. These include a Folk Museum that illustrates the region's history of mining and an RAF Museum which displays artefacts from the days when nearby Haverigg was a military airbase.

Creative enthusiasts can visit the Craft Centre and view a range of crafts exhibits and for bird watchers,

Hodbarrow Nature Reserve has an RSPB hide and estuary walks.

If something a little more energetic is required, Haverigg Beach has lovely golden sands backed by dunes, great for windsurfing!

The Property

A welcoming hospitality tray awaits you for that first cup of tea in whichever of our thirty award winning Norwegian Lodges you have chosen. Close to the Hall, yet concealed among the trees, the Lodges are designed to blend with the woodland setting. All lodges are tripple glazed, (warm in the winter, cool in the summer). Electric central heating and well equipped kitchens and bathrooms are, of course, standard. All Lodges are very well furnished and fully carpeted.

There are 5 different types of lodge, all with ample wardrobe and cupboard space, and each featuring colour television, video and telephone.

Directions

Exit the M6 at Junction 36 (A590). After 1.5 miles exit the dual carriageway signposted Barrow. Follow the road for approximately 18 miles and exit right, signposted Greenodd, Millom. Follow the road for approximately 15 miles (A595). Approach the fork in the road (left to Millom) but continue straight on and pick up signs for Brockwood Hall. You are 1 mile away, follow signs for Brockwood Hall, turn left on the farm road and the resort entrance is at the top of the hill on the left.
