The lovely holiday cottages at Barley Cove Beach Courtyard Cottages are located on the golden sandy Blue Flag Beach at Barley Cove on Mizen Head in West Cork. This is a family favourite seaside location attracting holiday makers back year after year. Barley Cove is a European designated Special Area of Conservation and is located between the towns of Goleen and Crookhaven in West Cork.
This is the ideal holiday destination with a host of varied activities to appeal to everyone whatever their interests. The beaches of Galley Cove and Cockle Beach are close by, which are ideal for water sporting activities. There are many other activities available nearby including fishing, diving, walking, cycling, golf, horse riding and sailing.
Situated in the grounds of the recently refurbished, family run Barley Cove Beach Hotel, which closes seasonally, guests of the Cottages have full access to the Hotel's facilities including Bar, Restaurant, Function Room and Outdoor Decking Area.
The superior holiday cottages at Barley Cove Beach Courtyard Cottages consist of eight brand new bright and spacious stylishly furnished holiday homes. Each has two bedrooms, one master double bedroom and a second bedroom with jo-jo bunk beds, double on the bottom and single on the top and a shared bathroom, sleeping up to five people. The Cottages are two storey and feature a patio area both to the front and the rear, to enable you can maximise the sunlight during your stay. The windows are large and fill the Cottages with natural light. The kitchens are fully equipped with all modern conveniences including electric oven, microwave, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher and all necessary utensils, crockery and cutlery. The holiday homes also feature a washer/dryer and all bed linen and towels are provided. There is a cosy open fire in each of the holiday homes along with electric central storage heating. There is also a TV/ DVD combination unit in both the sitting room and the master bedroom.

Barley Cove Beach Courtyard Cottages are located approximately eighty miles from Cork City and forty miles from Killarney, each of these towns is accessible by train or by air. The closest ferry port is Cork, which is serviced by many of the larger ferry operators in Europe. From Goleen follow the signs for Crookhaven and Barley Cove, R591, for approximately four miles.
