Cleggan Farm is situated on the north side of Cleggan Bay, opposite Cleggan village in County Galway, Ireland. On the farm you are surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere and farm animals. There are lovely walks out to the end of the peninsula, or up to the top of Cleggan mountain. If you prefer the sea, why not walk along the drive way to the main gate, where there is a beach, perfect for children and dogs. There you can also do a little mackerel fishing or collect fresh mussels.
At Cleggan Farm Cottages the old barn has been converted into six country style cottages. Where you will find comfort and a relaxing atmosphere. The Cottages make an ideal base from which to explore this lovely part of Ireland.
Badgers at Cleggan Farm Cottages in County Galway, Ireland is a lovely first floor cottage in what would have perhaps been the loft in the old barn and has sixteen steps up to the door. With a lovely view out towards the Atlantic, there is also an area outside with garden furniture for those long bright evenings.
There are three bedrooms in Badgers, two of them each have two single beds, and the third has one double bed. The bathroom has a wc, wash basin, bath and electric shower. The kitchen overlooks the working farm yard, and has a cooker, fridge, utensils, pots, pans and crockery. The dining room and sitting room adjoin the kitchen. Badgers sitting room is large and comfortable with a tv, an open fireplace and also there is an extra single bed in the sitting room. This cottage has gas central heating.
Pets are welcome, but must not be left unattended in the property.
