Ayyildiz Apartment in Datca, Turkey is located just ten minutes easy walk along the promenade to the town centre with delightful shops and a busy harbour. From the harbour you can take daily boat tours to neighbouring bays and beaches. Diving and fishing trips can also be arranged. There is also a daily boat service to the neighbouring Greek island of Symi in season and from there to Rhodes.
5 minutes easy walk to nearest beach and pool - if you prefer not to drive, Knidos, and many small villages and coves can be reached by Dolmus (cheap minibuses) or boat trip and other sites, eg Ephesis, can be reached by ferry and bus trip
Datca is situated on the Datca Peninsula, surrounded on three sides by sea. Datca is a town where life centres around the harbour. There are numerous shops, boutiques and restaurants. Bars line the harbour side and each evening an assortment of yachts drop anchor in this attractive setting. In Datca a car is not essential, but it will allow freedom to explore. A drive through the peninsula with pine forests and roads zig zagging down to sea level will bring you to Knidos, on the tip of the peninsula, a site dating back to 400BC and most famed for its statue of Aphrodite.
Ayyildiz Apartment in Turkey has two large bedrooms to sleep six, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, there are two sofa beds, a huge lounge, a shower room and a bathroom. There are delightful views from the balcony of the Mediterranean sea, mountains and Symi island. The apartment is in a quiet location in a Turkish neighbourhood, surrounded by fruit and pines trees, yet central and within easy walking distance to all facilities. The apartment is suitable for people who want a personal and traditional Turkish experience and is not situated on a holiday complex, it is in a lovely quiet residential area. There is no onsite swimming pool, however, nearby hotels will welcome you to use their pools, sunbeds and facilities for the price of a drink or very small fee. There is a choice of fresh or sea water pools within a ten minute walk of the property. A payment £130 is required in advance, payable to the owner, for keys and any breakages. £30 is for the cleaning and electricity
