Set on the seashore, with 3000ft mountains in every direction, this house has stunning sea and mountain views. 10 miles south of Fort William just half a mile from the main A82 road with routes radiating out in all directions, this house makes an excellent base for touring the magnificent scenic west coast of Scotland, or simply relaxing in the extensive gardens and grounds. Famous Glen Coe is close by. Excellent mountain walking on Ben Nevis and the Mamores for those fit and equipped.
Lovely gentle walks on the beach, on the hill behind the house and to the nearby spectacular Inchree waterfalls.

Onich Village with its shop and hotels with public bars is a pleasant one mile walk along the beach or the road.
This is a late Victorian house, built in 1892 in the grand Scottish Baronial style. It has recently been renovated and tastefully restored back to a single property. The house comes complete with turrets, natural wood doors, ornate plasterwork and a grand staircase as some of its features.
Ardrhu House is set just a few metres from the loch, and has an uninterrupted panorama of mountains and the sea.
Ardrhu House retains all its original features with 7 spacious bedrooms, sleeping 14.
A grand entrance that leads into a dining room with open fire this leads into a fully fitted Kitchen with range cooker. Also on the ground floor the house has a reading room, a large lounge with two open fires, a small gymnasium, a sauna with shower room and separate WC. Situated at the front of this magnificent house is a large conservatory to admire the spectacular panoramic mountain and sea views.
Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and 5 twin rooms. The main bedroom has a four poster bed and a circular jacuzzi bath inside of one of the turrets giving spectacular views over Loch Linnhe and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom is also ensuite. There are two further bathrooms each with bath, shower and toilet, a separate shower room and two sepertae toilets giving 5 bathrooms and 8 toilets in all.

Take the A82 north from Glasgow signed Fort William. 3 miles after passing over the large steel Ballachuilish bridge, turn left signed Cuilchenna House Hotel and Ardrhu. Fork left towards the sea and at the end of the drive is Ardrhu House, which will be open. There are 14 holiday cottages in the grounds. The estate managers Adrian and Joanne Brooks live on site.
