Tighnabruaich is a delightful seaside village on the shores of the famous Kyles of Bute, a popular sailing centre and port of call for the paddle steamer 'Waverley' during the season. In the village, this three storey stone villa dates from 1900 and the ground floor draper's shop and two flats have been in the same ownership since then. The two attractive flats enjoy wonderful views from their bay windows and one has a small balcony providing the ideal vantage point to watch the yachts and other small craft passing by. This is a good place for a family holiday, there is a safe sandy beach ten minutes away at Ostel Bay and for teenagers, there are watersports, tennis and an excellent sailing school in the village. Boats may be launched from the slipway. For touring, there are many lovely routes to explore on the Cowal Peninsula, whilst the Portavadie Ferry provides access to Tarbert and the Mull of Kintyre.
