A river bus operates every half hour from the adjoining Greenland Quay to The City (20 minutes) and the West End (40 minutes). There is no more pleasant way to travel to central London than on the spectacular river Thames, under Tower Bridge, past the Tower of London and St Pauls Cathedral to London's vibrant West End, passing dozens of famous London landmarks as you glide speedily up river. Canada Water tube station on the Jubilee line is reached in 5 minutes on the number 199 bus. The famous buildings and sights of Greenwich are just 5 minutes by bus or river bus. Greenwich has an abundance of good restaurants.
