In winter the range of skiing is huge, it is possible to ski all the stations of the Quatre Vallees - Meribel, Courchevel, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Val D'Isere and Tignes. A free ski bus to Courchevel starts just 100 metres from the apartment. There is also a cross country ski circuit in front of the apartment in winter.
There are many outdoor activities available in this beautiful village near to Courcheval on the edge of the Vanoise National Park including tennis, mountain biking, trout fishing, hang gliding and summer skiing on the glacier at La Plagne and Val Thorens. The local lake which is walking distance from the property is open for swimming in July and August, with a lifeguard from 12pm to 6pm. Nearby there is a café, pedalos and a climbing wall. There is also a large open-air swimming pool further down the valley, and another swimming pool in Courchevel. Brides-les-Bains, a beautiful spa town with a casino and health resort is approximately 3km away. A car is essential in this area to access the beautiful Vanoise National Park and the ski resorts or Lake Annecy.
Apartment Florineige in France is a one bedroom ground floor apartment in a large alpine chalet. It has 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 sofa beds in the living area, which will either make into a double or 2 singles. The living room is open plan with kitchen with hob, oven/grill, fridge, dishwasher and a fondue set. Bed linen is provided. The apartment has under floor heating, electric heating and is cleaned at the end of your stay. It has a sunny south facing balcony, with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Guests are advised to bring their own DVDs, as the rental shop nearby only supplies French editions.
