7 Amapolas III in Playa Flamenca, Spain is ideally located with a market every Saturday literally outside the door, which is very good for fresh fruit and veg, hot chickens, tablecloths, linen, clothing, shoes and gifts. There is also a supermarket at the end of the road, about a ten minute walk. There are many local facilities offering a variety of restaurants, bars and entertainment, all within walking distance.
There are five beaches within an easy drive, some quiet and some with water sporting facilities. Torrevieja is ten minutes away by car, which is the nearest town, and a typical Spanish holiday resort, with fabulous Spanish restaurants and tapas bars, fun fair, natural marina for swimming and lovely quayside. There is lots to do here for teenagers with nightclubs. There is a large market here on a Friday, supposedly the largest in Europe, and a street market for arts and crafts every day, all day, along the promenade.
If you like touring, Valencia and Granada are about a three hour drive and there are many small white painted villages nearby. Murcia and Alicante are the nearest cities and both are excellent for shopping. Cartagena is also excellent for shopping with stores condensed within a small area.
7 Amapolas III is a lovely terraced house on the Costa Blanca, Spain, it is based upon the old style townhouses, commonly found in Spanish
towns and cities. The property is located on a complex of similar properties.
The lounge and dining room are open plan with a fireplace, television with satellite and stereo. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, hob and microwave. There is a washing machine in the lower shower room. There are three bedrooms, two doubles and one twin, and there is also an additional 'roll away' bed for a seventh person. The master bedroom has ensuite facilities and there is a main family bathroom with double sinks and Jacuzzi bath. The property is over three floors, with a large terrace to the rear, on the top floor, off the master bedroom and a smaller terrace on the first floor, to the front of the building, off the double bedroom and a large front terrace on the ground floor.
The complex has approximately 160 houses, with an indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The outdoor one has a children's pool and the indoor pool also has two saunas. During summer months, the swimming pools are open from 9.00am to 9.00pm.
