QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
FAQ and Holiday Questions - Super Holiday Rentals
Is superholidayrentals.com a booking agency?
No, you are booking direct with the holiday property owner/manager after you have used the superholidayrentals.com web site to find information that leads you to make an enquiry direct with the property owner/manager.
Does booking direct with the owner save me money?
Yes, nearly always. Using the internet to find and book holiday villas, holiday apartments and holiday cottages direct with the owner is a great way to save money. It cuts out the intermediary (often an online travel agent who charges a booking fee) and means that you can get direct answers from the person who knows i.e. the actual owner of the holiday cottage, holiday villa or holiday apartment.
Are the holiday properties on superholidayrentals.com inspected or graded?
No, not by superholidayrentals.com, but they may have been inspected by a tourist board or other third party. Check in the individual property description.
Who writes the property description?
The holiday property owner/manager supplies all the information and photographs published on superholidayrentals.com
How do I know that what I see is what I get?
In the end, we all have to rely on each others honesty. Check out the photographs carefully and check out the reviews from previous customers at that holiday rentals property. Draw your own conclusions and make your own decisions.
How do I advertise my property on super holiday rentals?
Simply complete the registration details and provide us with your web site details and we will do the rest.
How much does it cost me to advertise my holiday property?
It is completely free to advertise your property. You simply need to deposit any two weeks into our holiday property exchange system Dial An Exchange, subject to certain date restrictions dependent upon location.
How long will my property appear on the web site?
Your property will remain on the web site for 12 months from the date you deposit two weeks.
Can I advertise my property in any currency?
The prices shown are set by the owner in GB pounds, Euros or US Dollars. We recommend that you set your prices in one of those three currencies as appropriate to your location and the property location. For example you might live in England but own a villa in Florida. You may therefore set your prices in either GB Pounds or US Dollars, please stick to just one currency. If you use another currency such as Swedish Krona for a holiday property in Sweden, then please make it abundantly clear in the property description as well as the price list.
Can I pay in any currency?
The prices shown are set in the currency chosen by the holiday rental property owner. You must pay in that currency. Often the owner will take credit or debit cards which make it very easy to pay in a foreign currency. Electronic bank transfers are also easy in a foreign currency.
