Does booking direct with the owner save me money?

Yes, nearly always. Using the internet to find and book holiday villas, holiday apartments and holiday cottages direct with the owner is a great way to save money.

Are the holiday properties on superholidayrentals.com inspected or graded?

No, not by superholidayrentals.com, but they may have been inspected by a tourist board or other third party. Check in the individual property description.

Who writes the property description?

The holiday property owner/manager supplies all the information and photographs published on superholidayrentals.com

How do I know that what I see is what I get?

If you book and pay through superholidayrentals.com then you are protected by a no quibble MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. (see terms and conditions section). If you arrive at your booked holiday accommodation and find it is not as described or is not presented to your satisfaction, then you are entitled to a full refund of the rental cost providing you do not stay the night and report your dissatisfaction to the owner or local property manager immediately.

How much do I need to pay on booking?

30% of the total holiday rental is required on booking to confirm your reservation.

When do I have to make the final payment?

At least six weeks prior to arrival.

What happens if I cancel?

You loose the deposit and/or final payment you have made unless you have paid for our Cancellation Protection Scheme (CPS) at the time of booking.

What is your Cancellation Protection Scheme? (CPS)

If you pay the 5% premium for the Cancellation Protection Scheme (CPS) at the time of booking, then you can cancel for almost any reason at any time right up to the day of departure and receive a full refund of your deposit and/or full rental. CPS does not cover "change of mind" or "disinclination to travel" (see terms and conditions section)

Can I pay in any currency?

The prices shown are set by the owner in GB pounds, Euros or US dollars. The superholidayrentals.com web site automatically converts the currencies every day according to that day's exchange rate. This is for your convenience. You pay in GB pounds at the conversion rate on the day of the transaction. Your credit card provider will convert from GB pounds to your home currency at their exchange rate on the day of your transaction.
