How It Works
It is simple, quick and easy for the holiday property owner.
1. Register with us providing details of your rental property. click here to register. It's free.
2. We create a display profile of your holiday property for you which we send for your approval.
3. We then ask you to update your availability calendar and prices so that correct information is displayed to potential rental customers.
4. Then you deposit two weeks in your holiday property (subject to certain date restrictions) into the DIAL AN EXCHANGE (DAE) holiday exchange system.
What is the Dial An Exchange holiday exchange system?
The holiday exchange system is simple and easy. For each week that you deposit into the holiday exchange system Dial An Exchange will give you a Holiday Credit. These credits are valid for 3 years and can be used to book any week in any available holiday property at any time of year, anywhere in the world. If you take the Dial An Exchange Gold Advantage service you can even request specific properties for specific dates. Your family and friends can use your holiday exchange credits to take their own holidays anywhere in the world! This is a great way of getting extra holidays in other locations by using vacant weeks in your own holiday property.
How much do I pay for the exchange?
There is a low fee of £84 for an exchange holiday into the UK, Europe and North Africa and just £99 for long haul destinations such as Australia, Asia, South Africa and USA.
Dial An Exchange is careful to accept into the holiday exchange system only weeks that are likely to be taken by other members (holiday property owners). For the UK, Ireland and France that is usually any two weeks from April to October inclusive. They do not need to be consecutive weeks. For winter sun destinations such as The Canary Islands, Egypt and Florida it is usually any two weeks between Christmas and Easter inclusive. You can of course deposit more that two weeks if you want to take more than two weeks holiday out of the holiday exchange system. Holiday exchange deposits can be made at any time, though we generally ask for at least 6 weeks notice before the check-in day. If you have any last minute vacant weeks that you wish to deposit into the exchange system, so that you get something (a holiday credit valid for 3 years) rather than nothing, then you should phone our office to see if we have any members (holiday property owners) waiting to book that last minute vacant week as an exchange.
Will the Super Holiday Rentals web site get me any rental customers?
Every web site on which you advertise gets your holiday rental property more exposure to potential customers who are searching the web. As long as you have the right property in the right place at the right price, then you will most certainly get customers from this Super Holiday Rentals web site. If you have your own web site, than that is linked through from your listing on super holiday rentals giving you yet another chance to convert an enquirer into a booker!
Super Holiday Rentals have paid for the following search terms on both Google and Bing search engines, so you should find them on the first page every time. "Holiday Rentals England" "Holiday Rentals Scotland" Holiday Rentals Wales" "Holiday Rentals Ireland" and "Holiday Rentals France"
You can list the periods that you have available on the calendar provided, together with a weekly price. Remember, this price is only used as a guide so customers will send enquiries direct to you with their own particular requirements.
When you receive an enquiry you should reply as soon as possible to give you the best chance of making the booking. Remember many people will be enquiring about other holiday rental properties in your area at the same time.
You can add and withdraw holiday periods live on line at any time of day or night. To avoid getting enquiries for periods you have already booked you should ensure that your calendar is kept up to date.
You set your own prices (in £, € or $) and can change those prices up or down at any time.

Once a Exchange Confirmation has been issued by Dial An Exchange you must honour that booking. You are liable to provide alternative accommodation of a similar standard and location to the customer if you do not honour that booking. See Substitute Accommodation below.
The property must be presented in a clean, comfortable, warm condition to the incoming customer, with details displayed of the local property manager who should have authority to assist your customer during their stay.

If a property is persistently the subject of customer complaints or its description is found to be misrepresented, then we reserve the right to immediately withdraw that property from both the Super Holiday Rentals web site and the Dial An exchange (DAE) holiday exchange system.
Substitute Accommodation. Very occasionally, and only under extreme circumstances, it may be necessary for you to offer alternative holiday accommodation to the property you have advertised. The substitute accommodation must be of a similar standard and in a similar location. The customer must not be asked for an extra payment for the substitute accommodation. If you meet these criteria you will have no further liability to the customer for consequential loss (airfares etc).
